I currently play summer baseball for American Legion Tyngsboro Post 247, in District 5. I'm the starting
shortstop, batting third in the top of the order. My current batting average as of July 9 is .400.
For the past 2 summers (2007-2008), I played for Dracut in the Northeast League as starting short stop,
relief pitcher and catcher. Our team ended the regular 2008 season as the #1 seed team, clinching the North Division
Title of the Northeast League for the first time since 1976. We beat North Reading in the semi-final play-off's, entering
the finals against Billerica with a winning record of is 17-2-1 (August 6, 2008). We lost the Northeast League title
to Billerica.
I have played with the Dracut Travel League since 2000, moving through the Cal Ripken Little League system,
where our Dracut Travel baseball team won back-to-back State Championship titles in 2003 and 2004. Our team also
won the Suburban Pony League 13U Championship Title in 2005.
Our Dracut East Suburban Pony League 15U team ended the regular season as the 1st seed team,
entering the playoffs with a record of 16- 3 as of Aug. 1, 2007. We advanced to the semi-finals, with a record
of 19-4 as of Aug. 5. We lost the deciding game leading into the finals on Aug. 6, ending up with a final record of
19-5 for the summer season.
