The New England Diamond Dawgs are led by Marc Deschenes, formerly with the Pawtucket Red Sox and Cleveland
Indians, and Mike Glavine, formerly with the Cleveland Indians and New York Mets. The Diamond Dawgs participate in regional
tournaments throughout the Northeast and national tournaments in Florida.
I played on the 15U and 14U Diamond Dawgs teams as the starting shortstop from 2005 - 2007. I also
played back-up catcher and pitcher for our Diamond Dawgs team.
In August 2006, I was selected as an AAU New England All-star, and participated in the New England AAU All-star
weekend tournament at the Groton School in Groton, MA.
